0.1 Hz rhythm is very well know in relationship with heart coherence.

We have clearly demonstrated in our itHRVe app, that heart coherence is closely linked to the phase shift between the electrical component (HRV) and the liquid component (blood pressure wave) of the heart data.

When people are heathy, relaxed  and in coherent state the 2 waves (HRV and PPG pressure wave) are in phase:
